They become corrupted because they are built inside systems that reward short-term extraction and financial gain above all else. Your challenge, therefore, is not merely to lead ethically but to design organizations that can resist these pressures from the get go.

A company is not an isolated machine generating profits inside a sealed container. Every organization creates ripple effects. It influences suppliers, competitors, regulators, employees, customers, and social norms. Whether you intend it or not, your company projects values outward. The real question is not whether your organization shapes the world around it, but what kind of world it helps create. Mission transmission is the name of the game when it comes to becoming incorruptible.
