I am fine.Life is OK.The only problem is that everything in Macedonian society is according to the Chinese
proverb - May you live in exciting times.
And yes, we constantly live in exciting and stressful times. Luckily I still jog every morning by the river Vardar, which takes the steam out of me.I am trying to write a new book, With a film director, I am working on a script for a movie dedicated to my father, the author of the national anthem , and periodically I write articles for a new newspaper called Free Press, that you can find on the internet (plusinfo.mk).

As an Eastern or Oriental society, we have historically no experience in democracy, especially in the control of political power. So,a political elite which is not dedicated to freedom and democracy can very easily usurp political power in order to control its opponents and even society as a whole. This is happening in Macedonia today. With the opposition out of parliament, there is no political control on all levels of political decision-making.This has to change through dialogue between the two main parties. But prior to that,someone has to take responsibility for the Wire scandal involving over 20,000 individuals whose phones have been tapped. For the moment, no one is prepared to do that and a blame-game has begun. The government says that foreign intelligence is involved, the opposition says that it is the doing of the authorities.A very dangerous game, because the government refuses to answer to the contents of the wired conversations and the horrible behavior of its ministers.

對東南歐社會的人來說，有史以來，我們沒有民主的經驗，人民也沒有經驗掌控政治的權利，所以，精英們如果不懂民主、自由，一旦得勢，為了控制對手、控制整個社會，會很容易的濫用他的權利。今天，這種情況正在馬其頓發生。

反對黨在幾個月前退出國會，也就是說：整個政府在做任何決定時，已經沒有反對黨的控制，政府可以為所欲為，而這種狀況這是要靠「對話」解決的，靠兩個主要大黨之間的對話。但是，對話之前，必須要有人先對「竊聽事件」出面表示負責，目前已經知道的有超過兩萬人被竊聽，也還沒有任何一個人出面道歉。

於是，一場「互相指控」的遊戲開鑼上場。

政府說是外國人搞的，外國情報人員搞的。反對黨說是政府權力高層搞的 ……這是非常危險的遊戲，因為政府到現在還拒絕回答任何竊聽來的「對話內容」，這是這個政府的所有部長們的恐怖行為。
